Cassidy Portwood
Coach Portwood is entering her 4th year serving in public education for the state of Texas. During her first year she coached junior high volleyball and basketball, and taught business and webmastering at the high school level. During her second year she coached year-round tennis and taught PE at the intermediate school level.
Coach Portwood earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University in May 2020. She then earned a Master’s of Science degree in Health, Kinesiology, and Sport Studies from Texas A&M University-Commerce in May 2022.
Coach Portwood is recently married to Cameron Portwood and has an Australian shepherd named Stella. In their spare time, they enjoy lifting weights, hiking, and traveling.
