Heath Brittain
Coach Brittain is entering his 19th year in public education. He currently serves as the Head Powerlifting Coach and Defensive Coordinator for the Madisonville Mustangs. In his previous roles, he has served as an assistant coach in Mexia , Lorena, and Jewett- Leon. He has also served as a head coach in Golf and Soccer and as an assistant coach in Track/Field, Baseball, and Basketball.
Coach Brittain and his wife, Ashley, have four children: Kylie (18), Reagan (16), Harlee (11), and Reese (7). He is a graduate of Robinson High School and Sam Houston State University, and has received a Master of Education in Administration degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, attending concerts & attending various sporting events.
