Trae Poe
Coach Poe is entering his 29th year in public education for the state of Texas. Coach Poe is currently assisting with football and basketball, and has worked with baseball, softball, and soccer in the past. Coach Poe’s first eight years were spent as a business manager with Normangee and Coldspring Oakhurst, and then served as program director for Education Service Center Region VI for 10 years. Coach Poe then moved into the coaching ranks and has spent the past 10 years working with the kids of Madisonville CISD.
Coach Poe is married to Ann Standley Poe (of Madisonville) for 28 years and they have three children: Kyle (24), Zach (22), and Abby (16). Coach Poe is a graduate of Madisonville CISD and Sam Houston State University. In his spare time Coach Poe loves being with his family, cutting firewood, and working in the yard.
