Shana Taylor
Coach Taylor is entering her 22nd year serving in public education for the state of Texas. Coach Taylor currently serves as a coaching mentor in jh basketball and in hs track at Madisonville CISD. Coach Taylor formerly served as the Head Girls Basketball Coach for 14 years, with 14 playoff appearances. She garnered numerous district championships, four regional tournament appearances, and one state semi-finalist appearance. In 2017, she was awarded TABC Class 4A Coach of the Year. Coach Taylor holds the school record for most points scored in a single game with 44 points. She also served 5 years as the Head Girls Track Coach. Coach Taylor played college basketball at Tyler Junior College. She has taught English IV for 16 years. Coach Taylor has been married to her wonderful husband Brady Taylor for 35 years and they have two children: Brad and Brock and grandchildren: Daylin(11), Paisley(8), Kingsley(7) and Baylen(3). Coach Taylor is a graduate of Madisonville High School and Sam Houston State University. Coach Taylor enjoys serving God and cherishes the lasting bonds that she has established over the years with her athletes, students, and colleagues.
