Catherine Sedlacek
Coach Sedlacek is starting year 13 in public education, both for the state of Texas and Madisonville HS, as a high school Biology teacher and Tennis coach. Coach Sedlacek started coaching Spring 2012, as assistant tennis coach to cooler than cool Coach Jud Robinson. When Coach Robinson retired, Coach Sedlacek took over as head tennis coach in Spring 2015. Since then, Madisonville Tennis has grown to include a Fall Team Tennis season (for both Varsity & JV teams) and a junior high season in the spring. In both Fall 2018 & Fall 2021, Coach Sedlacek was named the TTCA Region 3 4A Coach of the Year.
Coach Sedlacek has been married to her very patient husband, Stuart, for 10 years and they have one feisty toddler, Clint (3). She is a graduate of Clint High School (2006) and Texas A&M University (2010). In her free time, Coach Sedlacek loves to run, travel, and spend time outdoors with her family.
