Cameron Portwood
Coach Portwood is going into his third year of public education for the state of Texas, and his second year with Madisonville CISD as a High School Social Studies teacher/coach. Coach Portwood is currently coaching football, basketball, and track. Before coming to Madisonville, Coach Portwood worked for Bryan ISD (2021-2022) as a Social Studies teacher/coach.
Coach Portwood is a proud member of the Fighting Texas Aggie Class of ‘20 where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology (Physical Education), while also meeting his wife Cassidy Russell Portwood, who is also an employee of Madisonville CISD as a Physical Education teacher (3rd-5th grade) and assistant tennis coach. Coach Portwood enjoys hiking Texas state parks, watching college football, and visiting MLB ballparks.
