Cathy Reeves
Coach Reeves is starting her 39 th year serving in public education for the great state of Texas!
Coach Reeves currently serves as a high school assistant volleyball coach and assistant soccer
coach entering her 2 nd year for the Madisonville Mustangs. Prior to arriving in Madisonville,
Coach Reeves held positions at Channelview (10 years), Katy Mayde Creek (8 years), Robinson
(8 years), and Keller Timber Creek (11 years). During these stints, Coach Reeves has served as a
head volleyball, head soccer, and head track & field coach, and has also assisted in those three
sports as well as in cross country; she also served as the Girls’ Athletic Coordinator at Mayde
Creek and Robinson high schools. Over the past four decades, she has been honored to coach
several District Champion and State play-off qualifying teams and individuals.
Coach Reeves and Coach Watson have been blessed to serve Madisonville High School together.
Coach Reeves attended Baylor University where she had the opportunity to run track for
legendary Olympic coach Clyde Hart. Coach Reeves has three grown children who live and
work in the Houston-area; she teaches English for the Mustangs, and in her spare time, she
enjoys painting, gardening, crocheting, antiquing, running, and cooking.
