Coach House is entering his 27th year serving in public education for the state of Texas.  Coach House is joining Madisonville CISD as the Football Defensive Coordinator and Assistant Powerlifting coach. Coach House served as an Athletic Director/Head Football Coach for 10 years of his career with stops at Runge, Bloomington, Somerville, and Petrolia. He has also coached at Liberty, Channelview, Skidmore Tynan, Pettus, Leon, and Buffalo. Coach House has been part of the UIL State Football Playoffs 13 of his 26 years coaching. He has also served as a Head Coach in Baseball, Golf, and Powerlifting, with two state girl Powerlifting champions.

Coach House is married to Jessica House (Madisonville High School math teacher) and they have two children (Austin and Tyson). He also has three older children (Justin, Darby, and Amanda) and is a proud “Pa” to several grandchildren. Coach House is a graduate of Sinton High School and Texas A&M University Corpus Christi. He is a veteran of the United States Army. Coach House enjoys fishing, hunting, and raising cattle, coaching student athletes, and spending time with family. He’s excited to join the Mustang family!
